You leave the phone shop after asking whether they could fix your screen for under £100. Through the window you can see three staff bent double. It could be anything. It isn't anything. **Why it caught on:** a candid photo of Barack Obama in office, laughing hard with aides who are laughing just as hard, makes any line sound like an inside joke at the reader's expense, and everyone has walked into a room exactly like it.
