At the self-checkout you scan everything, bag everything, pay, and walk out without the bags. The bags are fine. They're still at the till, fully paid for. You put your phone in the fridge and the milk in your coat pocket. You notice at the bus stop. The milk, in fairness, is still cold. At work you reply all to complain about people replying all. It goes to 400 people. You've now been added to a working group about email. **Why it caught on:** a young chimpanzee pulling a proud, pouting face. Everyone has a moment of pure self-inflicted foolishness to confess, and this face confesses it for them.
